• Summary
Molly is hooked up to an IV in Mohinder's apartment, not conscious. Matt says they have to get her to a hospital, and Mohinder tells him no hospital is equipped to deal with this. Matt thinks of how afraid Molly was and admits he never should've asked her to look for him. Mohinder agrees with that. Mohinder tells Matt he has to find out what his father did and how to end it. He has an address in Philadelphia, she even saw his door. Matt says he hasn't seen the man in twenty-five years. Mohinder tells him, "Molly faced her worst nightmare for you. Do the same for her." Mohinder says he'll stay here and do everything he can. Matt doesn't know why his father was in that photo. He says Angela Petrelli was too, so she must know him. He goes over to Molly's bed and kisses her forehead. He tells her she will be okay. He promises.
Monica is telling the police she was about to lock up when this guy showed up. He pushed his way in and the next thing she knew, he was flying through the glass. The officer asks if she hit an armed man, and she guesses. She says it all happened so fast. The officer shows her a picture of the guy and asks if it's him. He tells her his history, and behind him, Monica's friend shakes her head no. Monica says it was all a blur. The officer says in order for him to get this guy, someone has to step up, be a hero. Monica says she's sorry, she can't do that. The officer says he can't help a neighborhood that won't help itself. He hands her his card in case she changes her mind.
Caitlin is switching the signed from open to closed in the window. Peter is surprised, since it's only four-thirty in the afternoon. Caitlin says she needs a break, and her and Peter start to kiss. AS they lean against the bar, Peter says he could get used to it. Caitlin doubtfully says, "Right. A guy who can throw a thousand bolts out of either hand settling for everyday life in a pub in Cork. Not sure it suits you." Peter asks why not, and Caitlin says just because he doesn't remember his past, it doesn't mean he doesn't have one. She asks if he's curious about who he is, where he comes from. Peter tells Caitlin she's seen what he can do; it could be something he can't control, maybe it's better if he doesn't dig too deep. Caitlin says she knows the kind of man he is, even if he doesn't. It's a good thing, and she bets the box will tell him the same thing. Peter asks why she didn't want him to look before. Caitlin says she said that cause he hadn't kissed her yet. Peter picks her up off the bar and they continue to kiss. Peter asks if she's done with him now that they have. Caitlin says she's getting there. Peter carries her off and she says, "After all, pretty boy like you, there's got to be someone looking for you. Friends, family." Peter says "Let them look" and shuts the door.
Will calls, "Like I told you, you're not going to find him in there. A blond woman named Elle is looking inside a storage container, like where they found Peter. Elle looks back at him and runs her hand alone metal containers. We see electric volts come out of her fingers. Looks like she's got a power too.
Nathan is furious they interrogated Angela without him. Matt says she didn't give up anything, and Nathan tells him of course she wouldn't, these people protect each other. Nathan says he won't have his mother sit in jail for a crime she didn't commit, and Matt says he won't either, which is why he's going to Philadelphia. Matt says he has to see his father and get this figured out. Nathan suggests he come, and Matt says no, he's a cop. Nathan guesses this isn't police work, so if Nathan's there, it won't make a difference, cause technically, Matt isn't either. Matt tells Nathan that his father did something to Molly and that he thinks it's all connected to Kaito, Angela. Nathan says he has to do this too. Matt agrees, then says they could probably get there faster, cause Nathan can fly. Nathan tells him he's not a cargo jet.
Ricky and another guy come back into the bar and find Peter Caitlin kissing by the wall. Ricky says he has to talk Peter alone. Peter walks toward them, and the guy tells Peter this American girl was hitting on all the guys at the dock, checking all the shipment containers. Peter asks if she said what she wanted, and the guy says Peter. Ricky says he can help, and Peter says it's his problem. Ricky says not after what he just saw between Peter and Caitlin.
Monica is out by the dumpsters when Camille asks what that was all about. Monica says she didn't want some crack head looking for revenge, so she said she didn't recognize him. Camille says not that, the whole flying-karate-kick thing. She says her boss hadn't seen anything like it and asks how and why she did it. Monica says she doesn't know, that nothing makes any sense. Camille asks where she learned it and Monica says she thinks on TV. Monica says her body does things before her brain even knows it. First the tomato roses, now this... Monica starts to say what it's like, then says she was supposed to be somebody. The first woman in her family to go to college. And now look at her. Monica says she's going to go home and sleep it off. Camille hugs her and tells everything is going to be okay. Monica hopes so.
Matt and Nathan are coming up on the door. Nathan asks what he's doing then reminds him what he did to Molly and Angela and tells him he better get sure. When Matt doesn't knock on the door, Nathan asks if he's okay. Matt tells him when he was thirteen, his father left them. He hasn't talked to him or seen him and now he can't knock on the door. Nathan knocks on the door and says he's not Matt's dad today, he's a suspect, then tells Matt to get his gun out. Matt shouts "Police! Open up!" He busts the door open, and the guy on the inside asks who the hell he is and raises his own gun. Matt says he'll tell him if he puts the gun down. Nathan calls him Parkman and the guy says in disbelief, "Matt?" He asks what Matt's doing there and Matt demands what's he doing to Molly and what he did to Kaito and Nathan, still outside the doorway, asks what he's doing to Angela. Matt slams his father against the wall and cuffs him and Nathan picks up a shotgun. Matt's father says they got it all wrong, then says to look on the desk. Nathan shows Matt his father's part of the photo with the symbol on it. They're going to kill him too.
Matt tells his dad about Molly and then says whatever he did to undo it NOW. His father says he was protecting himself, and Nathan asks from who. Matt's father asks whose son he is, then guesses he's the politician. Nathan tells him his mother is in jail for Kaito's murder. And they both got the pictures from the photograph. Matt's father says they found each other, him, Linderman, Angela, Kaito, and they were going to save the world. Matt says he never cared about saving anyone but himself. His father asks if slapping the cuffs on him makes him feel good, and Matt says yeah, it's starting to. His father finds out he can read minds and Matt tries to read his father's and can't. Matt asks if his father can read minds too, and his father says he'll tell him everything he knows if he unlocks the cuffs.
Micah is playing the piano when Monica comes homes. Nana thinks it's wonderful they've got a musician in the house again. Monica tells him no one's touched it since her mom died. Micah says he'll get up, but Monica sits down next to him and says it's okay. It was meant to be played. Micah says Monica must really miss her mom, and says he misses his too. Monica says she's missing him too and she knows new things can be scary, but her mom always said, "God doesn't give us anything we can't handle." She starts playing the piano too, and Micah asks she plays, and Monica says no, she never learned. Monica looks down and sees she is playing the piano and pulls her hands off and stands up. Micah asks what that was if she can't play.
Mohinder calls HRG (who's with the Haitian) and tells him Molly is getting worse and he's running out of options. Mohinder says he's considering taking her to the company, and HRG reminds him that's who they're fighting against. HRG tells him the moment he trusts the company with what he cares about, they'll have him, and not to forget whose side he's on. Mohinder tells him he's on Molly's side and hangs up the phone.
Matt tells his father to tell them everything. Everyone he's ever worked, everything. Hid dad starts to apologize and says it was a temptation when he found he could read minds and he used people. He says he's proud Matt's a cop, and Matt tells him to answer the questions. Nathan asks how they were going to save the world. Matt's dad says the gifts came out of nowhere, they thought they were invincible. His dad tells Matt their gift becomes so much more and says he has a bunch of stuff in the back and Matt follows him. The door shuts and Nathan grabs the gun and tries, but can't open the door.
Matt finds he's in a jail cell and is being shoved against the wall by a cop. Nathan gets the door open and finds he's on the Devereaux roof, but it's snowing and the city's destroyed. Nathan says it's impossible, they saved the city, but he's looking at burning and falling apart buildings.
Matt says it's a mistake, he's not supposed to be in there. His father comes out of the room, shuts the door and leaves the apartment, leaving Matt and Nathan trapped in their own worst nightmares.

No, it was just some guy, and I... alright, I killed him okay? What is the big deal? What do you mean? Now? This is my assignment, and I almost have him. What if I promise not to... fine. I'll come home now. Sorry, Daddy. It won't happen again.
