New rumors are swirling that Kirsten "Veronica Mars" Bell is having her agent actively pursue the roll of Dazzler in the upcoming movie. One Hollywood insider, who is an extremely reliable source, reports that Ms. Bell said on the set of Heroes, "I'd kill to play Dazzler." This news will no doubt be well received with fandom.
With so many starlets being linked to the coveted roll, we here at DFB would like to propose a Disco Dance Battle to see who gets the part. The Dazzler Disco Dance Battle would be aired on Fox, American Idol style, allowing for America to determine who would play the disco mutant; and to create built in hype for the film.

It was quite a shock to discover that Hayden Panettiere’s father was arrested in the wee hours of Monday morning for domestic violence. But yesterday Alan and Lesley Panettiere were spotted out on a walk with their dogs.
And it looks as though they were on the road to reconciliation following their altercation, during which it is alleged that Alan physically harmed Lesley, although there were no signs of bruising or injury.
They both seemed reasonably happy as they walked the family dogs, with Alan telling the paparazzi that things were just “peachy,” just before entering their apartment.
He also explained that “It was all blown out of proportion,” adding that “maybe they [the cops] were bored,” when asked why the police were called to the scene.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Hayden Panettiere's dad, Alan, has been arrested for allegedly battering his wife -- Hayden's mom.
Sgt. Wolf of the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department tells TMZ Alan Panettiere was arrested this morning on a felony count of domestic violence. He was popped after allegedly striking Lesley Panettiere in the face at around 3:00 AM today. He is currently being held on $50,000 bail.

In the Season 3 premiere of Heroes, which will air on September 22nd, a lot will be revealed. In the first three minutes, someone gets shot, with the shooter muttering the phrase "I always loved you." It’s a 2-hour premiere.

Kristen Bell is back, shooting her multi-episode arc (probably beginning around episode 9 of the season) right now. And around episode 11, some of the action will shift to a comic book store in Athens, Georgia.
