On september 1st you can bring home the latest adventures of ordinary people with extraordinary abilities on DVD and Blu-ray. Heroes: Season 3 will be released on DVD and Blu-ray this September 1st. This six-disc set will be priced at $59.98 SRP on DVD and $79.98 SRP on Blu-ray.

NBC is planning a shorter season four for Heroes, trimming down the previous 25 episodes to a run of 18 to 20 installments. The network is also looking at running the season in one long block, similar to 24 on FOX or Lost on ABC, in an attempt to minimize storyline interruptions.
NBC has another reason to cut back the number of episodes of Heroes. The show premiered to strong ratings in 2006, but has slipped to about 7.7 million viewers on average since the 2007-08 writers strike.

I only have one word for the new Star Trek. AWESOME! I’ve seen it twice already. And I’m not even a Star Trek fan - I’m a Star Wars fan… :-O
And true Heroes fans might notice the little easter egg in one of the movies earliest scenes: J.J. Abrams’ longtime friend, and Heroes star, Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman) on lends his voice as Kirk’s angy stepdad, reprimanding young Kirk for stealing his beautifully restored sports car.
In the end of “An Invisible Thread” we saw Tracy Strauss reappear through water and killing a building 26 agent, stating he was number four. According to Heroes writer Bryan Fuller, Tracy will be back in Volume 5 with a vengance.
Tracy now have the ability to take liquid form, seems to have found a new perspective after sacrificing herself to save Micah, who obviously made a big impact on her.
